Overview

PropDesk ("we", "our", or "us") is a WhatsApp-powered CRM platform for real estate agents and agencies in Pakistan. PropDesk is a product of PROPDESK TECHNOLOGY (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED, a company incorporated under the laws of Pakistan and based in Lahore, Punjab.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use PropDesk, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using PropDesk, you agree to this policy.

        Plain English: We only collect what we need to run the service. We never sell your data. Your leads' WhatsApp conversations stay private and are only accessible to your agency.
      

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account Information

Your name, email address, phone number, and agency details when you sign up.

Profile Data

Your role (admin, agent, manager), avatar color, and language preferences.

Business Data

Your agency name, city, address, and WhatsApp Business number details.

Usage Data

How you interact with PropDesk — pages visited, features used, and actions taken.

We also collect data you enter into the platform such as lead details, property listings, notes, and follow-up reminders.

WhatsApp & Lead Data

PropDesk integrates with the WhatsApp Business API via Meta. When you connect your WhatsApp Business number to PropDesk:

We store your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) ID and phone number ID to send and receive messages on your behalf.
Incoming and outgoing WhatsApp messages from your leads are stored in our database so you can view your conversation history inside PropDesk.
Your leads' names, phone numbers, and conversation data are stored securely and are only accessible to agents within your agency.
We do not read, analyze, or use your leads' personal conversations for any purpose other than displaying them to you inside the app.

        Important: Each agent connects their own WhatsApp Business number. PropDesk acts as a platform — Meta bills the agent's WhatsApp account directly for any messages sent outside the free 24-hour conversation window.
      

How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide and improve the PropDesk service:

To create and manage your account and agency profile.
To power the WhatsApp chatbot, lead pipeline, and property management features.
To send you follow-up reminders and push notifications you have opted into.
To show you analytics and dashboard stats about your business performance.
To send you billing-related emails and service updates.
To fix bugs and improve the platform based on usage patterns.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase servers with row-level security enabled — meaning each agency can only access their own data. No other agency can see your leads, properties, or conversations.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS with SSL encryption.
WhatsApp access tokens are encrypted before being stored in the database.
Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access — Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
Correction — Ask us to fix any inaccurate information.
Deletion — Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
Export — Request your data in a portable format.
Objection — Object to how we process your data in certain circumstances.

Cookies

PropDesk uses cookies and similar technologies to:

Keep you logged in to your account (authentication cookies).
Remember your language and theme preferences.
Understand how the app is being used to improve it.

We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect the functionality of PropDesk.

Children's Privacy

PropDesk is a business tool intended for adults (18 years and older). We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has provided us with their information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will:

Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Notify active users via email or an in-app notification.

Your continued use of PropDesk after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
